Can you say retro?  Vintage style can be seen everywhere these days.  Take the Missoni collection for Target, for example.  But I have to say, I was surprised to see how much it influenced so many of the new collections.

Arteriors lighting and furniture gave a nod to the past.

Parts of the Jonathan Adler showroom look like they were straight out of the 50s.  These button-back lounge chairs are upholstered in a look that is inspired by menswear.  Not to mention the bold graphic rugs!

Dwell Studio is known for its mod look, and these accent pieces fit right in.  But even brands who arent known for it seemed to embrace the style:  Hickory Chair introduced the chair above with its sloped arms and tufted back.

A vignette from Arteriors is shown on the right, and to the left, a surprising vintage-like leather recliner from Lillian August.

The thin arms, tapered legs, and boxy cushion back of the cream chair in the background seem to have a retro influence, as does the orange leather chair in the foreground.  Orange leather?  Yes please.

Stripes in bold tones accent a chest in Hickory Chair, with another orange leather lounge chair sitting in front.  In Hickory White, the bookcase design is an updated take on mid-century modern furniture.
