Rooting for spring It is still a little too early to start even the earliest seed for our gardens, but there is something I can do right now that will add to my display in my flowerbeds.

Textured walls are a simple and very visible way of changing the look of your home. It’s like having a giant piece of art in your home. When a co-worker mentioned that my friend Brenda at Thompsons Building Materials in Fontana, CA had made some pallet gardens, I rushed (literally!) over to take a look. Dont let Thompsons name fool you into thinking they dont have fantastic plants and pottery (and really awesome built in BBQs if you have the space for one). Because they do! I bought a kumquat while I was there. If youre in Southern California, you should go check them out. The pallet gardens are hanging near the design center. 
By the way, Brenda attached the pallet gardens to the wall using brackets.
